American Bar Assocation and the Young Lawyers Association

Marianne C. Bartko graduated from St. Thomas Law School, and is admitted to practice in Florida. She is a member of the American Bar Assocation and the Young Lawyers Association. Ms. Bartko was one of a select few to complete the stringent 3 + 3 program which allowed her to enter law school in what would normally be her last year of college.

Here at Friedland law center and Associates, Ms. Bartko works primarily with foreclosure defense litigation which includes overseeing and reviewing loan modifications. She is dedicated to keeping our clients in their home and defending against predatory lending practices.

As a certified legal intern Ms. Bartko worked at the State Attorney’s office handling all phases of trial. She routinely defended against motions to suppress and DUI arrests. Ms. Bartko gained a fellowship through the Florida Bar which provided her an opportunity to work at the Broward County Public Defender’s Office. In that capacity, Ms. Bartko worked closely with juvenile defendants. Chiefly, her job involved explaining to them their legal rights, and negotiating the best possible plea offers with the State.
